We are launching a new series called The Delegation, a podcast series to educate and connect university students across the country to demonstrate how we can wield our collective power to drive change. We will discuss topics that affect students such as the incoming administration, student debt, Covid-19, and civic engagement.

The Votable app launched in August 2020 with the mission to inform, engage, and empower voters on the US government and other civic engagement topics. With hopes of becoming the next-generation’s version of C-SPAN and to make civic engagement and politics more accessible to all by meeting people where they are (see here), Votable is looking to expand its team.

Votable is looking for a driven and enthusiastic college student with strong connections to student groups and organizations to help launch our first Delegation series from March - June 2021. You’ll participate in The Delegation and help represent Votable on campus and further our mission of engaging college students on civic engagement and political topics so that students feel more empowered to drive change on issues that impact their daily lives.

You will work with the Votable team to shape the narrative of The Delegation’s initial pilot series and help drive awareness of and engagement with Votable.

After the initial Delegation podcast series, the Votable team plans to launch the Votable Ambassador Program on university campuses across the country. As a Delegation member, you will not only become a part of our Delegation network of engaged college students across the country through our private Facebook group, but you will also have the opportunity to become a Votable ambassador on your own campus, to serve as a trusted advisor to the Votable team as we continue to build the app, and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
